The silk scarf

Setting: Place: This story happpened in Oriental plaza in  Johanesburg which is a shopping centre with shops owned by Indian people.
Time: the story happened during the apatheid government's group act. this story happened during the day because is the only time people or customers do their shopping.
Main character: Mrs. Nebo.

1.  She is a maried woman, maried by the foreign minister in the new coming government.
2. Mrs Nebo is a rich woman. this showed by fancy clothes she wore and her expensive car she owns.
3. Mrs. Nebo is a law bleaker.
4. Mrs. Nebo is a woman who violate people business reguration.
5. Mrs. Nebo is un-ethical because she force Mr. Sakul to do what she prefer and which is good to herself only while it thresten the owner of the shop.
6. Mrs. Nebo is maried by the upcoming foreign minister
7. Mrs. Nebo have no respect because she talk to the Indian man as if she is throwing food in the gabage.
8. Mrs. Nebo misunderstood politics because it does not meanif there is apatheid in the government, not eeveryone is bad, especially if they ssre of the same rase with those running the government.
9. Mrs. Nebo is a bad womwn and she do not understand the concept of having money or being wealthy, now she is using that advantage to threaten people .
10. Mrs. Nebo is a woman of medium height, with heavy loinsand smooth-skinned comlexion.

Plot.at  the begining,, the chauffeur-driven mercedes benz with Mrs. Nebo and Margaret enterered   the gate of Oriental Plaza and stop on the car stop. These two ladies were on the shopping expedition as they entered the portals of the Plaza. as they enter they were attracted by the maze of mordern shops elling jewellers, haberdashers, outfitters; shops that selling curtains, textiles, oriental garments such as bank, restaurant and workers displaying wares in open space. Thes two ladies bought jewellery, shoes and swimming costumes. 
their two escorts had been following the two ladies while eating potato crisp they bought at food store. In the middle,  Mrs. Nebo saw a lovely  Indian dress in a dummy through the window and she bought it. after that, she went on another shop looking for the silk scarf wich will match her dress but there was nothing of her choice and she continued visiting shops to shops.By visiting various shops, she came to Moghul Boutique were she was sshown a sirk scarf by a short gaunt-looking man. Mrs. Nebo was so excited by the scarf and she dcided to buy it. before buying , Mrs. Nebo count the money in the bag so that she can pay for the silk scarf costing hundred and ten rand, but she realised that she was fifteen rand short. precisely, she take out the cheaque to pay for the scarf but the shorpkeeper immediatery said no because he don't accept cheaque in his business but cash only. this was an insult to the wife of upcoming foreign minister, dispute or arguments began as Mrs. Nebo complain the tedency of someone who is even poor trying to reject her cheaque. Mr. Sakul did not change his business law, he continue saing no cheaque means no cheaque wil be assepted because he refused other cheque already. lastry, Mr. Slader one of the traders in the Oriental Plaza spoke to Mr. Sakul so that he can give him money for the scarf and addressed Mrs. Nebo to accept the silk scarf as gift from Oriental Plaza traders. At last the matter got a solution and Mrs. Nebo was extrimely happy for the gift, she smiled and thanked the traders and blamimg Mr. Sakul by pointing fingure.

Settings.  Time:  The story happened during the short holiday that  Jerry and his mum had. it had been happening during day and night because Jerry had been practicing during the night time how to be under the water. This story happened during sunmmer time as they went to the beach for that summer holiday.
Place: This story happened on the foreign country on the beach and in the villa in wich they have been staying for the vacation.
Main character: Jery

1. He is a young boy with 11 years of age
2. He is  brave and a strong boy who was trying to do what big boys can do
3. Jery is a childish boy with no respect as he was just grabing out what he needs from her mum's hand witout permision.
4. Jery is a born swimmer because as he saw the big boys swimming through the tunnel, he imitate them and he was closely to be successfull.
5. Jerry is a jealous boy because he was angry with big when they are swimming throutg the tunnel while he cant.
6. Jerry is a smart boy and he can make deductions easily , because when he realise that he was not going deep down the water to find the hole in the rock to go on the other side of the pool, he thought of diving in the water with a rock wich will force him deep down the water.
7. This boy loves her mum very much because everytime he carne up, he make sure that he looked if his mum is still under the umbrella that looked like a slice of orange peel.
8. jery is a sturbon small boy, because his mum had been telling him that he must not overdo things because he was young and not perfect in swimming and the fact that he was bleeding when ever he tryed but he did not listen to that, he just continued.
9. he is a rud small boy because he was yelling to bing  boys.
10. Jerry was lucky because he was suppose to die in the tunnel when his shoulder get stuck , luckly he retreated back and also when his nose start breending immediatery when he retreated from the tunnel and carne up.

Plot: At the begining, one holiday morning, Jery and his mother were walking along the beach they have ben for a vacation. Jery saw an intresting bay wich  caught his mind with an atraction. Meanwhile her mother asked him if  they can go somewhere else but jery said no to the question. but he told her mother that  he just want tro go and have a look to the locks down there. on top of that his mum was unbearable that she should go by herself , but he didnt.  later, she  was thinking that he is old enough to be safe without her. as Jerry's mum gained the beach , he began a steep descent to the bay. he saw moving bluish green fringed wich spread among promontories , sharp rock and the crisping. he ran and begin swimming when he saw an edge of white surf, and the shalow , luminious movement of water over white sand.  on the edge of small cape that mark the bay side from the promontory with scarted rocks  he saw big boys stripping off their clothes and he swim close to them.  The big boys dive and carne up while jerry was observing them, again they dive and Jerry wait for to long for  the big boys to carne up and later they cane up on the other side of a big rock. Jerry dived in also assuming that he can also go to the side where big boy are but he fail by so as he doesnt aware ho they went through the tunnel. Lastry: Jerry trained himself how to  his breathing under the water and at the same time forced his mum to bought him swimming goggles so that he can pass through the tunnel,  by saing that he have to do it unless he  died there but sure that the big boys one day they will come through the tunnel and found his corps. his last trial ends up in vain as his nose start bleeding and this cause him to feel dizzy. at last as he was counting, his head was swelling and pounded through his head and feebly clutched at rocks in the dark feeling that he was dying.  lastly his head start to pain  and he propelled out of open sea and he was gasping like a fish. he takes off his goggles and a gout of blood went in the sea and his nose was bleeding and he saw local boys smiling and did not want them . he went home with bloodstrain and tearstrains and wash them off because he dont want the mother to see tham.
